San Antonio Zoo’s Reptile House is the First One to Successfully Breed a Very Rare and Endangered Gecko

The San Antonio Zoo’s Reptile House gained several new additions this year, including 11 psychedelic rock geckos bred by the zoo’s Ectotherms Team, according to a news release issued by the zoo.

“We are proud of the Ectotherms Team at San Antonio Zoo for these successful hatchings,” said Tim Morrow, president and CEO of San Antonio Zoo. “It is because of their experience, knowledge, and dedication that the Psychedelic Rock Gecko is getting a fighting chance again.”
