Volodymyr Domashlinets is a well known nature conservation expert from Ukraine, PhD in biology, author of more than 50 publications on the topic of biology, ecology and nature conservation. His key qualifications and directions of activity include: environmental protection; establishment of ecological network in Ukraine; wildlife legislation development; assessment of anthropogenic impact on fish populations in natural watercourses; ecological physiology and biochemistry of fish; development and maintenance of hydroecological and wildlife databases; wildlife management and conservation including international co-operation and implementation of the biodiversity related treaties: Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats (Bern Convention), Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) etc.
