Tiny Darwin’s frogs named after Charles Darwin flown to London for safety

Darwin’s frogs, being under 2 centimetres long and recognisable by their distinctive noses, are now facing threats which are drastically reducing their numbers.

Conservationists organised a rescue mission which included capturing and flying 53 of the tiny Darwin’s frogs to London Zoo.

The Dallas Zoo announced that six eyelash pit vipers were born at the zoo on October 11, 2024.
