Andreas Löfberg

Responsible Herpetoculture Breeder (Sweden)

Andreas is an educated biologist from Sweden, now working with environmental issues at the municipality. He has always had a great interest in nature in general and animals in particular. With furred-animal allergy in the family growing up, reptiles was the way to go. And with a tendency to be a serious collector, restricting himself to one genus of geckos, Strophurus, was a way to keep it all at a manageable level. He got his first Strophurus in 2008 and now he keeps and breed most of the species available in the hobby. Andreas is a member of the herpetological societies of Stockholm and the county of Östergötland. He present his achievements and daily life at his website www.scandinavianspinytails.com and his Facebook page Scandinavian spinytails.
