Asher Nicholls

Responsible Herpetoculture Breeder (Australia)

My name is Asher Nicholls and I am a hobbyist keeper/breeder specialising mostly in Australian geckos with a current focus on Chameleon Geckos (Carphodactylus laevis) and Northern Leaf-tailed Geckos (Saltuarius cornutus). However, I also work with Angle-headed Dragons (Lophosaurus spinipes), Prickly Forest Skinks (Gnypetoscincus queenslandidae) and a handful of varanids. I have had a strong interest in reptiles all of my life, with my earliest memory being catching Wolf Snakes on Christmas Island when I was five years old. In my early teens I began keeping and breeding reptiles and have since worked with multiple species of agamid, skink, gecko, pygopod, varanid, python and elapid. My goal in herpetoculture is to help establish some of the more obscure species of reptiles whilst learning about them and sharing my knowledge so others can have the same success.
