Gergő Gurics

I am Gergő Gurics, the owner of the GuriXotics tortoise farm. I live in Hungary and am a real tortoise fanatic. I am currently 37 years old and have been in contact with these amazing creatures since I was very young.  I currently keep about 10 tortoise species and I also breed most of them successfully. I am most proud of my breeding success with Chersina angulata. In addition, I regularly breed several imposing Testudo graeca subspecies (ssp. cyrenaica, ssp. whitei, ssp. armeniaca, ssp. marokkensis, ssp. terrestris) and Testudo kleinmanni.

The main purpose of the Gurixotics farm is to take care in calm and natural conditions, as a happy tortoise is healthy and a healthy tortoise breeds well.  The number of tortoise species cared for on the farm is constantly increasing, I am constantly trying to learn and get to know more and more species successfully.
