Hubert Dobosz
Responsible Herpetoculture Breeder (Poland)I lived with my grandparents who agreed to nothing but a rabbit or a guinea pig. But it is thanks to them that I fell in love with reptiles, because since I was a child they played fairy tales (e.g. “About the Franklin the Turtle”) and even more often nature films. National Geographic was my everyday life. It was then that I had the chance to get to know the job and love what Steve Irwin did. It was thanks to him that I became interested in the behavior of reptiles. I started reading the various articles available that accompany me until now. I am still learning by reading new and old essays about the reptiles. After moving, I found information about the first exotic exchange in my city, then I got my first lizard. Since then, I have had contact with many individuals and species. Many leopard geckos, crested geckos, phelsum have passed through my hands, and I have also had breeding success with uroplatus pietschmanni. Thanks to this, I was able to choose my specialization. I currently have: Eublepharis macularius, Correlophus ciliatus, Dierrogekko nehounensis, Bavayia robusta / geitaina / cyclura, Rchacodactulus leachianus, Mniarogekko chahoua, Geckolepis typica, Phyllurus amnicarentolae, Diplodactylus furcosus, Tarentola chazaliae, Terratoscincus roborowskii and others… today I know that I want to develop towards Australia and Madagascar species. Now I am unable to expand my breeding in a limited space and for a time that is limited by science. After graduation, I would like to do my best to develop this wonderful hobby.
