Oksana Nekrasova

Senior Researcher (Scientific researcher, Zoology) in I.I.Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and currently works at the Daugavpils University Institute of Life Sciences and Technologies. PhD (Zoology) I.I.Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (diploma 2002). Participation in 15 research projects. Manager of the joint project between the Institute of Zoology and the Hryhorii Skovoroda Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi State Pedagogic University – «Animals of the Red Data Book of Ukraine in terms of climate change: current situation and forecast in the context of the development of a national network of protected areas» (2017-2018). Published 240 publications. Valid member of Ukrainian herpetological society and membership in the Association INVASIVESNET. Research interests include: biodiversity of animals, conservation or amphibians & reptiles, anomalies, GIS-modelling, invasive species.
