Rob Nixon

Responsible Herpetoculture Expert (USA)

Rob Nixon was born with a congenital fascination for non-human life. His interests are wide ranging, from alpine conifers to mud turtles. Rob has maintained amphibians and reptiles in terraria at home in some capacity for the majority of his life. From a herpetocultural perspective, Rob is very interested in lizard species with a tendency towards social, live-bearing species such as the spiny-tailed skinks (Egernia spp.) and armadillo girdled lizards (Ouroborus cataphractus). Rob has been maintaining groups of these lizards for several years with consistent reproductive success. Rob hopes his interests and experiences will be of service to the RH community.
