Code of Practice for the Private Keeping of Reptiles

This Code sets the standards for the care and housing of reptiles.
It applies to the welfare of reptiles that are held under an animal keepers licence issued by the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH).
This Code comprises both enforceable provisions and guidelines. Enforceable provisions are identified by the word ‘standards’ and they must be followed.
