Laura Addy

Laura Addy is a Zoologist and Educator, living outside of Adelaide, South Australia. Laura’s passion for wildlife has been demonstrated throughout her life; having kept and bred numerous Australian reptiles for over a decade, making appearances on a national children’s television show, a national radio broadcast, and presenting a television engagement program for a children’s hospital. With a specific focus on increasing the engagement of the general public with science and scientific literature, Laura has previously written for an Australian reptile magazine where she produced articles with the intention of making research findings more easily accessible for a wider audience. Throughout her career, Laura has worked as a reptile specialist, behavioural consultant, in-house zoologist at the largest live food production facility in the Southern Hemisphere, and a teacher.
