Sergei Prokopiev

Sergei Prokopiev graduated from V. N. Karazin National University of Kharkiv with a degree in biology and economics.
For more than 30 years he has been engaged in herpetoculture with an emphasis on large-scale, ex situ breeding of  chameleons,  skinks and other lizards.

One of the developers of Responsible Herpetoculture Project(RHP) .

Sergei repeatedly took part in various expeditions with the aim of studying animals in their natural habitat, monitoring the state of natural populations in the context of biodiversity conservation.
